- Women in costume act out a performance for the Moon Festival, put on by United China Relief between August 7-9, 1941. Several of the women stand along the back of the stage, facing the audience. Three women on the right side of the image bow towards each other. One woman with a large headpiece on stands near the front of the stage, facing the audience. The spectators are visible at the bottom of the image. There is a large banner with stars and two Republic of China flags behind the performers on the stage. On the left side of the stage there is a vase with flowers in it.
