- A woman stands on a stage in front of a microphone. There is an ensemble behind her, which includes musicians playing violins and guitars. The stage is set up in front of the restaurant Far Low Tuey which was located at 442 Gin Ling Way in New Chinatown. The restaurant Forbidden Palace (located at 449 Gin Ling Way) can be seen lit up in the background. Spectators stand in front of and beside the stage, watching the performance. A Republic of China flag hangs behind the woman to her right and an American flag hangs to her left. This performance was part of the entertainment for the Moon Festival put on by United China Relief between August 7-9, 1941.
