- The house on the left is 521 Apablasa Street, home of Emily Yee (daughter of Charlie Yee Hay and Chan See) and Joe Lum. The house of the Soo Hoo family on the right. Mother was Annie, mother of 9 children including Peter, founder of New L.A. Chinatown; Emily was aunt of Nellie Yee who married Dr. Yick Hong Chung on 6-2-1910, and parents of Lillian (Wong), Dr. Arthur Chung, Marian (Yang) and Marie (Louie).
