- Description
- Two parade floats mounted on truck beds. The parade floats are large boxes with rectangular openings cut out on all four sides and they are decorated with flowers and lanterns. The first float, which is in the foreground of the image, has megaphones and American flags on it. The second float, in the background of the image, has a large sun on top of it. Several children are riding inside the floats and an adult is standing on the running board of the truck pulling the first float. A man in a suit is walking alongside the first float. There are spectators visible in the background on the right side of the image and lanterns hanging above the second float. These floats are part of the 1941 Moon Festival parades put on by United China Relief between August 7-9.
