- Portion of large picture showing the famous Wong Hing (Huang Xing), left, seated, in front of Chinese Nationalist Party Headquarters in Old Los Angeles Chinatown. In late September 1915, Wong Hing was in Los Angeles to express condolences to the widow of Homer Lea and to visit the gravesite. He also was in Los Angeles to seek continued support from the Chinese community for the new government in China. Wong Hing was regarded as a great revolutionary leader and close associate of Dr. Sun Yat Sen.
